Note: Browsing and posting reviews on RateMyPreceptor do not require an account. Creating an optional account unlocks additional features (e.g., bookmarking reviews) and involves limited additional data collection, as described below.

We do not knowingly collect any data that constitutes Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA or personal data from children under 13. User Content containing PHI is removed under our Terms and Conditions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for behavioral advertising.

We retain:

  • User-Generated Content – indefinitely, because reviews are intended to be permanent references.
  • Account & Verification Data – as long as your account remains active (plus up to 30 days after deletion for backup integrity) or as required by law.
  • Log & Analytics Data – up to 24 months, unless a longer retention is necessary for security or legal obligations.

8. Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.


9. International Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the U.S. and potentially other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
